The Youth Songwriting Intensive is a five-day immersive creative experience for emerging artists ages 12–17, designed to introduce participants to the songwriting process and the music industry in a meaningful, hands-on way. Hosted in the California desert near Joshua Tree, students work closely with Grammy-nominated songwriters and musicians in a small, supportive cohort, exploring collaboration, creative development, vocal performance, and professional studio recording. Throughout the week, participants write, refine, and fully record an original song, gaining insight into how music is created and produced in a real-world setting. The experience culminates in a final listening party, celebrating each artist’s work and growth in an encouraging, community-centered environment.
